Question: One more ANTM question!.!.**SHOULD** Anya win!.!.!.!.will Tyra treat her like she treated Dani(elle) from Cycle 6!?
After watching Cycle 6 today!.!.!.I got soooo tired of hearing Tyra belittle Dani(elle) for her accent!.!.!.!.!.in other words - Tyra couldn't find anything *wrong* with her, so she kept nagging her about the way she talked (I could always understand her, I still can't figure out why Tyra made such a big deal over it)Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think the reason Tyra keeps commenting to the girls on their accents is because a big part of the contract with Covergirl is being a SPOKESmodel!. And I'm pretty sure Covergirl would not be pleased with ANTM if they selected a girl who couldn't carry commercials etc for them!. And I don't think ANTM wants to lose that connection with Covergirl because of that!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well, I would say that most of the time, I was able to understand Danielle, and sometimes it was difficult!. But, people with Southern accents are more difficult to understand, especially to people who don't really have accents at all!. Like where I live in Northwest, we don't have accents, not like New York, not the South, nowhere!. And I have watched Cycle 6 several times including today, so my mind isn't cloudy when thinking about this!. Her speech sounded mumbled sometimes, I guess it's because of that Southern drawl or whatever it's called and I agreed with Danielle that she said that she just needs to slow her talking, and that will help her!.
Anya's accent isn't as strong, but I think it is definitely noticeable, and maybe even distracting!. But, so far, she or Kat should win!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I love Anya!. She's my pick to win, now that Claire is gone :(!. Either Anya or the very under-rated Katarzyna!. I also love Whitney and Lauren, but I'm not sure if America's ready for a Plus-size or Punk Rock Top Model yet, though!. But I love Anya and I love the way she talks!. It's part of what makes her who she is!. Plus, she's a beautiful girl who takes beautiful photos and she's definitely one of the most mature girls in the house!. She doesn't bicker and she always tries to be the big sister and the Peacemaker!. Plus, her laid back Surfer Girl vibe is so cool (she'd look so cute with American Idol's Jason Castro :p)!. So I guess her accent is the only thing that Tyra can find to pick on!. I just hope it doesn't interfere with her chances of winning because I really think she should!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
