Paula doesn't even comment on the singing. She just talks about their outfits and their hair.
you will be told flat out by simon and randy. its nice to have someone there that doesnt just say "you suck" flat out. she will be nice about it, and say something like "maybe this year isnt your year, but keep trying!"
She doesn't know how to be mean...even when she has something negative, she sweetens it up. You can tell though when she doesn't like a performance because she really stumbles around (more than usual) trying to come up with nice things to say.
i think a little to nice ya cause bad singers might get the messege that thier good when she comments
yes she is she's too easy going & is not judging properly. a judge need to critisize bad perfromance instead of trying to sugarcoat that
No, I don't think Paula is just being too nice. I think that she is just being who she is. She seems like a very warm-hearted person but professional enough to tell the contestants when they need to improve something, in a way that won't break their spirits!

Instead of saying flat-out that was a mess,, like Simon would,, Paula would tell you nicely,, which isnt a bad thing.
i think she can sometimes be a little too sweet but sometimes after hearing simon you do need a little comfort.

no. people have come to expect her to be nice, and she's playing her part.
personally i think that she balances things out
she is the easy judge to please
randy is in the middle
and simon is the though hard judge to please

i remember watching a show about her a reality show i believe and she didnt act super nice like on the show
she was swearing and yelling and crying
like when they didnt want her for a movie or something she went off the deep edge

i agree but paula could be considered a breath of fresh air. after getting your self esteem beaten down by randy and simon, it might be nice to hear some "encouraging words" from paula.. . even though she sometimes acts like shes got a speech impediment or something good in her drink.

shes nice but we need a judge! shes in the middle of the judges for a reason. either randy or simon go first. usually randy, and after randy gives his thoughts paula says almost exactly what he says jus in her own words! she doesnt hav a mind of her own.
and half her comments are "well it was a lttle shaky but u look beautiful tonight"

shes really nice, and is good at singing, but she just doesnt kno how to judge correctly.. plain and simple

She is but it balances Simon's being such a jerk.
She is sickening, I think she is drunk or high over half the time she is on the air. And, yes I would rather people be honest and not fake if they don't like the way I would sing a song.
