I know what you mean!! The only time I ever see one of the commercials is during ANTM. I just saw Saleisha's ad a few weeks ago during a season ten episode. But, I have never seen of the ads they shoot toward the end of the season!!

Let's be honest- who is going to sell more makeup: Drew Barrymore or a reality show contestant?!? Even if they did win ANTM, none of the winners have ever become a TOP model!! They just fade away, for the most part. It's just a scam to promote CoverGirl!

I was wondering the same thing! I haven't seen them anywhere and I read Vogue, Elle, Lou Lou...no where. I love that show and I usually love the winners but never see them anywhere.

that is so true
but i think that there might be an ad in teen vogue
or have you looked on the back of some magazines thats where they usually have the covergirl ads
the covergirl that i usually see on the magazine ads are mostly rhianna...
but in teen vogue i seen some past top model contestants
a few months ago i seen an ad for apple bottom jeans and *Jade in the ad *(from cycle 6 3rd place)

The only time you see them with Covergirl is when they do My life as a covergirl segement.

A lot of reality show winners (examples such as America's Next Top Model and Project Runway), seem to basically fall off of the Earth, as you said, once they win the show. Other than a few rare appearances in advertisements for no-name fashion brands, winners of reality shows, especially the fashion-related shows, never seem to show up anywhere. If would think that the winner of America's Next Top Model would be gracing every cover of Vogue, just like Kate Moss seems to do these days, but it turns out to be the exact opposite. And the same goes for the winners of Project Runway—you'd think that all of their wonderful designs and creations would show up on the pages of the most prestigious fashion magazines, and yet it's the exact opposite. Most of the time if you mention one of the previous Project Runway contestants and the word fashion in the same sentence, no one knows what you're talking about. I suppose maybe the winners of reality shows just have a hard time making a name for themselves after winning, but I still don't see how they just completely fall off the face of the Earth. The only winners on reality shows that have really made a name for themselves outside of the show is American Idol winners, especially Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, and Jordin Sparks. Even people that were on American Idol that didn't win ended up making a name for themselves, such as Chris Daughtry and Jennifer Hudson. I suppose it just leads me to believe once and for all that mostly every reality show nowadays is fake.

they don't fall off. I've seen Danielle AND Caridee in commercials... but it's America's next Top Model. They do runway shows all over the world. we don't know every well paid model.
