I thought the TV show Scrubs supposedly just had its last season. Why is it back!

Question: ABC is in talks to pick up the show for a renewed next season, which is presumed to be the last. I'm not really sure why they are renewing, when viewer ship is down. Its just not as funny as it used to be.
