I'm hesitant to agree intirely , but it did seem thin.
The premise was fine , I've seen the same situation with other scams and schemes , not candles.
i think one problem is the Jan character , I don't feel she "jives" with the show like everyone else.
Have you seen the british version ? It was short lived , and didn't "jump the shark"
.There is something to be said about knowing when to quit , but americans keep consuming even after the show has gone bad.
I LOVED IT AND HATED IT. I THOUGHT JIM AND PAM AND DWIGHT WERE FUNNY. ANDY ANGELA MICHAEL AND JAN WERENT BUT IT IS A GOOOD START
You've got to be kidding me. It was great. It was so awkward it was hilarious. It's ridiculous to suppose that just because the British version was short-lived the American one should be too. It actually is pretty smart to keep it going. It makes money for the network-the reason networks air tv shows, and it has a very large fan base. Taking it off the air would be a pretty bone-headed move all around.
It actually became my favorite Office episode... When you look at IMDB message boards, it's pretty split... Some LOVED it and some really HATED it...
I liked it because it kind of gave insight on everyone's relationship, ESPECIALLY Jan and Michael...
I felt the same way you do about My Name is Earl...
What I really missed was Michael making a "confession."
