Question: What's the deal? Since I didnt see the first shows , i am little confused...did they kill someone? Whose house are they living in/ Are they pretending to be someone else and how are they getting away with it?

Brief summary:
Wayne, Dahlia & family are travellers. Gypsies. In the pilot, they had a run in with another traveller, and in trying to flee, another car was forced off the road. In this car were Doug and Cherine Rich. The car crashed, Dough and Cherine died. They were on their way to their new home which they bought and had their stuff shipped to without meeting anyone. Everyone hates the real Riches, no friends, family, etc. They had originally gone to the address listed on their identificaiton to steal their stuff, but ended up assuming their identities. Wayne (Doug) had to start working to support Doug's lifestyle. The other travellers from the family are trying to find Wayne and Dahlia so they can cash in and ruin Wayne because they hate him. They are getting away with everything by pure luck.
