Am I Alone Or Does Any Other CBS Soap Views Notice This?!
Question: I just notice that overtime characters start to look identical for example
Y&R: Cane looks like Daniel (as if they could be brothers)
Heather looks like Lauren (as if they could be sisters)
B&B: Brooke looks like Nick especially with her hair pinned up
ATWT: Sofie looks like Sarah (Bonnie's foster kid who later
turned out to be Marshall's long lost daughter)
Sofie also favors Cecelia (Used to go with Casey)
Plus Will and Gwen look like a young Jack and Carly
and went through the same obstacles and storms to be
together.
Is this just my imagination or does any other CBS views notice the twin like resemblace in these characters, talk to me?

Yeah I do notice that sometimes. I think that the casting people do that because the characters are all basically the same after awhile. Will and Gwen ARE Jack and Carly, like you said. They are just the younger version of them. I am more vested in Jack and Carly but newer viewers are probably gonna gravitate towards the younger couples. It helps keep the storylines flowing.
I have never noticed that but I will say that CBS soap operas. Well.. I know Y&R usually do good in the casting department when it comes to having people look similiar in their character family circle.

I have noticed that sometimes characters look alike until they recast someone, then they unusually get someone that does not even resemble the person. It would be some much easier to except a recast if they would find someone that look like the person or a least was the same Nationality. For example. Colleen on Y&R, the new one besides being to young, sounds like she could be Cane's sister instead of Jack's neice.
