MY bf and I just started watching this show back this past January. We ran out of the shows we normally watch due to the writer's strike and we ran across it late one night while channel surfing on WGN. The show is based on the fictional prairie town of Dog River, Saskatchewan Canada.
We watch it as often as we can considering we do not have TiVo (or something similar) or for that matter a VCR.
"You think there's not a lot goin' on... Look closer baby, your so wrong and that's why you can stay so long, when there's not a lot goin' on..." (Corner Gas theme song)

Davis we have nicknamed Barney Fife (from the Andy Griffith Show).
Emma reminds me of one of my professors, low in patience.
Karen is a typical rookie cop that enjoys keeping Davis on his toes.
Good ol' Hank, you just want to strangle 98% of the time he opens his mouth.
Lacy is the outgoing outsider who has sooo got to be a morning person, she scares me! lol

I think it sucks to see it leave. Hopefully more Canadian shows follow in CG's footsteps.
