Why does this season of my name is earl bite the big one?!
Question: ever since earl went to jail it has been horrible....i was hoping the writer strike would wake up the writers, but it has just made the show worst. do you think it is doomed or will it ever be funny again?

I think it's doomed. The beginning episodes before the jail bit were always brilliant. Now, not so much.
If this season first episodes were a bit dull with too much flash backs and context-free adventures.
I still reckon the last 2 were pretty good.
