There is no doubt in my mind that he will get a deal. No matter what point in the show you get voted off, record labels are watching for talent, and he definitely has it! I'm guessing his phone is already ringing off the hook with offers. He's suppose to be on Regis and Kelly Monday morning so they probably will be talking about it. He has my support all the way!

He already had a record deal a few years ago, same with Carly Smithson and Kristy Lee Cook. Johns is just an average singer, he's kinda like a Michael Hutchence wanna from INXS, well, Hutchens is dead. I think Michael Johns actually has the looks to be an actor. I'm sure he'll get some kind of record deal. As far as people not getting voted off last year during Idol Gives Back week, and this year someone did, it really doesn't matter, because Johns would've probably gotten knocked off next week.
He will. How well he does depends on his devoted fans doesn't it? I mean if you download his album off of Limewire, you really aren't doing a whole lot to support him are you?

I am sure we will see him leading a band somewhere!! I must add that I was shocked to see him go before Kristy. I was sure he would make it to the last 4 contestants.

I am wondering if he maybe already had an offer and thats why he got voted off. If you go to dialidol.com and look up the predictions, David Cook was slated to be in the bottom 3 with Sayesha and Carly...not Michael Johns. I am still a little pissed. Yes folks...it's just a show, but there are some things that just aren't fair. I don't think Ryan should have announced how they did not send someone home last year during IGB but they sent him this year. What's up with that? To be honest, I really thought he would make it to the finals. I would not be surprised if within the next 2 weeks David A. is gone. If that happens, then there is something going on with this show because aside from him and Michael Johns (and maybe David Cook altho I don't like him) everyone else SUCKS!!!
Of course! He is talented and American Idol is not the end of the road. Just look at Chris Daughtry, Bucky Covington, or from last season Phil Stacey and Blake Lewis. Daughtry is one of the biggest bands right now, and I think I read someplace that Bucky Covington is holding his own in country music. Phil Stacey is releasing a CD this summer I think. Blake Lewis has already released one.

I was so surprised that he got voted off, especially since I voted for him like a madwoman.....yes I do think he'll get a record deal, he's very talented....maybe it's a good thing he didn't win because now he can sign with a label that will allow him some freedom, unlike the one he would have been with had he won.
