I don't think that he is overrated at all. If anything else, I think he is UNDERRATED. People thinks people like me ONLY likes him because he is a cutie and have a great personality but that actually overshadow his talent thus making him underrated.

Wow, I'm completely with you on those three as well. But I also love Jason Castro as well. I was really disappointed in today's elimination I think Christy or Syiesha should've gone. God, I was so angered. I seriously think it's going to come down to David Archuleta and David Cook.
Well, Michael was one, but since he got booted (BOO!), I'd have to go with David Cook, Brooke White and I guess Carly Smithson, though I like Jason Castro too.
PS I also kind of predict a David C vs David A Finale, though. That would definitely be interesting.

For the type of music that is popular these days, David C and Carly have it down. David A has a great voice but that's like having another Clay Aiken who really didn't go anywhere. That's all I see for David A. He just doesn't seem to have the edge that this world is asking for right now. All these young girls are voting for him cause he's young and cute. Look at all the young, cute teenybopper boy bands we used to have a few years ago, where are they now? It would be a shame to have that happen again and not have somebody with today's type of talent make it all the way to the top.
Archuleta, ....,.... (the rest are still unpredictable... who knows kristy lee cook will gain her fortunate this year?? even though based on her quality she does not deserve that)... but who ever reach the final 2 to accompany archuleta will be coming home as the runner up...:)
I really like Carly, but worry there's too much controversy surrounding her. I wish she'd win the whole thing. Second place will be David Cook with David A in third. Just my opinion though. GO CARLY GO!!!!
I love Jason Castro, Brooke White, and to round out the top three, probably David Cook.
But in reality, the top three is most likely going to be David Archuleta, Carly Smithson, and David Cook. Don't get me wrong -- they're all talented performers, but maybe just don't fit into my niche of preferred music -- I love the sound exuded by Jason and Brooke, and they have very sweet personalities too, as far as we at home can tell.
And in response to all of the David Archuleta hype? While he excels at ballads and slower, more melodic songs and has great tone and pitch, he lacks sorely in range -- he has excelled only on such songs, while the other performers that I have listed have demonstrated a bit more range overall. Sure, he's an extremely talented performer, and I obviously can't name anyone else that I know of who can even match his prowess, but I think that it just kind of eliminates all of the suspense of the season if Archie is basically granted a free pass all season.
Anyhow, sorry for my rant . . . I guess we'll just agree to disagree. :)
Let's just hope that our mutual favorites make it to the top three, anyhow! ;p
