GH-How many people have been glued to the drama on our show this week?!
Question: I've heard a lot of complaints this week, about how they shouldn't show a child being shot, and how Sonny sucks for not being more careful, and how Carly sucks for putting Sonny into Michael's life, and blah, blah, blah. I've heard many people say that they are disappointed about what is happening to Michael and what is happening to the Sonny/Carly/Jason dynamic, and just general disappointment in the storyline b/c it's all so horrible.
But, don't you think that the fact that the show is making us ask all these different questions, and is bringing out all these different feelings and emotions, makes this storyline a success? I don't know about anyone else, but I've been riveted by what's going on GH this week. I haven't been this interested in a long time. Do I think that this is a tragedy? Sure. Am I sad that there is distance between Carly/Sonny and Jason/Sonny? Oh yes. But isn't that what happens during tragedies in real life? Some people come together and some people

i said the same thing in an earlier answer. these type of sl's get us talking, creates buzz, brings in new viewers and brings up the ratings. the writers do look at it as a success. i missed 2 epis this wk ran to youtube when i got home, and i even commented. there were over 100 comments undersome of this week's clips that's the most i've seen to it says alot.
the only person in this sl i think is being unreasonable is sonny. i think this sl has alot of potential.
I have been ff as much as ever when I watch taped. I think there IS a lot of potential, as much as I hate how they reached the point they are at now. I had hoped MB would give some wow performances... but find myself FF him since Tues. I don't think Guza is capable of taking this story where it has the potential to go. which is sad.
I agree on how we are so intrested in the tragedy of everything that is going on in the show this week but we have to remember that it isn't the way i live my life and thats what keeped me a fan for 22 years

I love how GH is doing because for awhile there it just got down in the dumps. But it has got better!!! Iike that there is happy then sad and mad and just all the emotion. But i do hate that they might get rid of Michael hes been on there so long but i still love the show.
It has been so good this week! I am glued to the set and soemtimes watch it a 2nd time on soapnet! Viewers have been holding their breaths for years waiting for something like this to happen to Michael since Sonny and Carly stole him from AJ b/c he was not a "safe" daddy! The scenes with Monica were terrific and I hope rumors are true about him reconnecting with her and what is left of the Qs.
I like the Sonny/Michael/Carly/Jason storyline because it is interesting to see Carly realize after all of this time that letting Sonny adopt Michael was a mistake. Carly has always put Sonny up on a pedestal and has defended him for everything, now that is changing when it involves her own child. She will always do this with Jason though. I don't think that will ever change.
The rest of it is the same crap. They need new material for Jason. Whenever he has a woman in his life, this happens. Now it involves his kid so it makes it slightly more interesting but not much.
I think Sonny deserved the bullet for taking Michael from AJ and putting is son in danger like he has and anyway he's such a jerk and a idiot i would really like to see Jerry Jacks shoot him though instead of that doctor.
Michael didn't deserve to be shot and i think Carly is ruining her kids lives by letting Sonny be around them i mean come on they're going to need a lot o f therapy for what they've been through.
Kill Sonny off the Show or me and my friends are going to quit watching GH and you'll lose a huge portion of your audience if you don't kill Sonny off seriously it is about time he's had a long run but he deserves to die!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i think it was the story line that they needed. because honestly GH is getting kind of stupid these days. im 18 and ive been watching it since like before i was born...it had its moments but the plot are just getting dumber and dumber. like people dying and mysteriously coming back....give it up already we aren't buying it.
I feel as though Michaels injury can open up the eyes of ppl who are in gangs and part of the drug world. They may be a target but their children are as well. As for Sonny protecting Kate over his own son is just ridiculous. Carly will take care of that I am sure of it! I have been glued all week..addicting!

This is the first time that carly and jason and sonny are divided. Because they have been so close for so many years. Nobody would have ever seen any tragedy divide the duo apart. We'll there is. The love over one on child has divide the duos - that have been friends for some many years. I am also wondering now - will this brake the bond between sonny and carly now too. I think this is one time - she may not for give him. But - i am hoping - i am wrong. Anything has known to happen with these three friends. Carly always looked out for jason and sonny. She has always had their back. But - when one of their own is hurt. I think that this is going to turn them against one another. When it comes to her children and when one of them is hurt. The mother bear is going to come out and protect her cub. And that is what she is doing now.
I agree with you that the storyline has been riveting and I too am glued to my tv set and I've not been so interested in watching GH for a long time now and I'm loving all the drama. Got my popcorn and soda next to me now while I watch Carly bytch slap Sonny twice and yelling at Kate to shut her trap...LOL
No actually I haven't been glued to it. I've probably watched less this week than ever! I was actually intrigued by Michael's shooting because I thought it was going to bring Carly, Sonny and Jason back together but it's just splintered them! I hate the crying jag Carly is on as if she's the only one who loves Michael. Fans say she has the right because she a grieving mother but I think fathers grieve too and I've been disappointed that the writers haven't given Sonny a platform too. This isn't REAL LIFE this is our fantasy show and I want the bond back between friends. I want that familiar feeling that has been missing for months now.
