Idol Gives Back--How much money actually goes to kids in Africa?!
Question: If you donate to Idol Gives Back, how much of your money actually makes it to the kids in Africa? I mean, is it a thing like for every $1 you donate, $0.50 will go to Africa, or even less? Like, do they use any of the money that they make to pay for all the celebrities that appear on the show and whatnot? Can I be assured that the full amount of my donation will go towards helping a child in Africa, or is there a chance that it will not?

none of it does. kristy lee cook stole it all and split it between her family so they could top up their phones with enough credit to be able to vote 10 million times each for her.
I hope every penny goes into the fund, I really care about the kids in Africa, they are so special! Just because a lot of them are sick doesn't mean we shouldn't treat them well.
I think they will give it all. Those artists, actors etc. who participated just volunteered.
I believe half is to help the families in africa and half is to help the poor familys and all they showed around here ..
All of the money recieved is going to the cause and its a great cause i gave $50 because its something that really does help.

i am probably going to receive crap for this but i think more should go towards kids in america... freakin A lets help out our own country first!
