I don't get it, has Disney channel always been lame...?!
Question: Or am I getting old? A few years ago I use to love Disney channel, but now I turned it on to watch with my nieces and I was shocked at the lack of talent these young Disney stars have. None of them can sing, they can't really dance, and the shows are just really lame to me. Is this what our children will grow up watching and loving?

i know what you mean. it used to be good but now it's just the suite life of sack and cody, hannah montana, cory in the house, that's so raven and all those other shows that no one really likes.
I agree these shows have no good dialogue nor talent..but I prefer my child to watch that station than any other..We dont get it we are old..lol
not only the Disney channel.. but all of the other channels to.
Fox, WB, CartoonNetwork.. ive been noticing a huge array of cruddy cartoons being shown by them over the years
im guessing the older cartoons were to fast paced, violent, funny, and stupid at the same time.. but they sure as hell were entertaining and had a lot more depth and drama or absolutely none at all and focused on pure enjoyment... every year they make some very bad remake of superman, batman, or spider man.. completely killing the original..
the only shows i can enjoy are
ed-edd and eddy (sometimes), fairly odd parents (they like to throw in some young adult jokes, gotta be fast to catch em though), the Avatar, and everyone loves spongebob
nickelodeon seems to be the winner here
disney channel has pretty much gone downhill ever since even stevens and lizzie mcguire ended!! but i have to admit i still watch like raven, suite life, and hannah montana, but disney channel is just not the same as it use to be!! its gotten more childish!!!!!!
disney channel used to be amazing when they still showed shows like "boy meets world" and the "little kid shows" had good life lesssons. like "gula gula" and "little bear" and stuff like that.
well its not so much ur getting older. wut we used to watch is now considered to much for little kids so they dumb that **** down till reatards can undastand. like disney and nick were so kewl a few years ago i would flip back between the two, now i flip past both of them n a hurry
