Does the Bianca Jackson 5 Advert Annoy You?!
Question: Whenever I watch that advert for Eastenders I feel like covering my eyes and ears come to think of it, it just makes me cringe! Its so cheap, cheesy and needless, other soaps dont do things like that! A soap is supposed to be close to real life not have some chav and her kids singing and dancing (badly) like freaks and thats supposed to promote Eastenders and make us want to watch it err...Whats your opinions?

can't agree with you more,and the fact that they use licence fee's to make this kind of sh*t really annoy's me too,and what the hell are they bringing back Fikky Ricky and the Ginga Minga for? god know's Eastenders is rubbish enough as it is !!!

Yes I agree, its awful and makes me cringe too! Bianca is just so annoying! Im not sure that I will be watching Eastenders regularly now, as Bianca is so annoying!
The whole idea of the ad is to make something stand out and memorable ... that it certainly did, and despite being potentially cheesy, cringe inducing or even appearing amateur, it had the desired effect. It seems to be the way that TV soaps are going .... similar to Moving Wallpaper and Echo Beach. You have to applaud the producers for at least trying to be different ..........
Cheese-fest it may be, but I still prefer it to that tiresome "Rickaaaay" advert (you know, where the windows break)

I havent seen it :-( It seems im the only one who hasn't. Cant even access your you tube link as im at work and access denied !!!! I'll no doubt catch it on BBC 1 soon.

Its a great advert for Eastenders ,A Bit of fun,Love it, In fact Eastenders itself is better now they are in it,I always liked Patsy Palmer
i thought it was really funi, anyway in soaps nothing is close to real life, they have just done it to show that it is gona be interestin to watch definatly not boring lol
