No they are not being banned in the UK. I believe that this rumour was started because they have been banned in a south american country where they used to be shown in the morning and it has now been deemed unsuitable for childrens viewing. Believe it or not the show they have replaced them with is Baywatch, which is somehow deemed as acceptable for childs viewing?!

I think you are referring to banning the Simpsons in Venezuela as a morning show. They banned it because it is not suitable for children. Instead, they will have reruns of Baywatch!!! it's NOT a joke!

Its not true - its been banned somewhere in the world as not suitable for children to watch but apparently they can watch BAYWATCH oh yes indeed!!!!
i am in australia and it has already happened!!!!!! t.v. hasn't banned it, fox said that after the movie they weren't going to make anymore simpsons episodes and so the free-to-air t.v. people have decided to limit simsons to 2 eps a week if they can fit it in! and plus dont you think it is a bit boring to just keep watching re-runs every single day? in australia no-one cares that it has been replaced because everyone was getting tired of it nyway!
i hope not .. my 24 year old son will be distraught... lol..
but he has a load of dvds'.. he can watch over again..
I could understand you caring if you were in a country like Syria or Iraq, where their pop culture (not all culture, just pop culture) is about two decades behind the west.
But you're in Britain, you're pop culture is on par with ours. Why would you want to watch that worthless show? It WAS good, about 5 years ago. Not anymore.

I hadn't heard but your best resources for you would be to go to the source...... the website of the station the show aired on, click on the shows link & find the show you're wanting to watch or information on then it will take you to that shows website & there will be full episodes available there online. The only thing is the most recent eps isn't available until 24 hours after it airs, in addition you'll find spoilers, comings & goings, updates, air times & I think local stations, chat forums & bulletin boards, cast profiles, and there will be other links there too.
