Who would watch GH if they took out Laura Wright as Carly Corinthos Morgan?!
Question: Ok! Here's the deal. I watched GH since 2006 (Manny Ruiz time) i found that Laura Wright made Carly really good and I liked her preformance better than anyone else on the set. So as she makes the story interesting, i decided to find out more on the character. I went to Wikipedia nad read everything (I CANT BELIEVE THEY WONT LET ME CHANGE CARLY CORINTHOS INTO CARLY CORINTHOS JACKS) and I found out other actresses potrayed her. I found that wierd and I took a lok at all the clips on u tube. Laura is the best. Based on history patterns Laura will leave soon. I dont want that. so who else would watch gh if Laura was taken off cuz I wouldnt.

Well, since I've been through 4 Carly's already, I'd still watch GH if we had a 5th Carly. =)
I acutally liked 3 of the Carly's very much (1st Carly-Sarah Brown, 2nd Carly-Tamara Braun, and 4th Carly-Laura Wright). When Sarah left, I felt a little bit like you...she made such an impression on me that I had a hard time liking Tamara at first. But I gave her a chance and I liked how she put a softer, classier spin on Carly. The 3rd Carly was atrocious and I ended up ffwding pretty much all her scenes. And then Laura came along as Carly, and she reminded me a lot of the 1st Carly (who had a similar, kickass, in your face attitude). So, even though I would really hate it if they switched Carlys' on us again, I'd still watch GH. Sometimes the unexpected surprise can actually turn out to be a good surprise. =)
I definitely will with or with Carly, I will miss her character.The show can going on .

Although I like her I would still watch the show. Now if they got rid of Jason that would be it for me..
I would still watch it. There's alot of good characters and good story lines. Carly only has one mood- angry. It gets tiresome after awhile.
She has made Carly her own and actually added new angles to her. I do like her more than the other Carly's. I never liked Carly when others played her, they were great(Sarah and Tamara) but they played Carly so hateful, Laura helps to bring out the nurturing side of her and I found myself liking her at times. I can't stand when she acts out and tries to run Jason and Sonny's life.
I don't see Laura wright leaving her role as carly because she is the best carly they had. I love her as carly. There has been no news of Laura wright leaving the show.
Never mind that; i wouldn't watch that dumb show even if there was a love scene between Scarlett johansson and gisele bundchen.
I, too, just starting really watching GH in 06. I love Laura Wright's portrayal. If she left, I would still probably watch and would just hope that the next Carly was as good if not better.
I have been watching GH since the 80's. I remember when the first Carly came on and I like this current Carly better than all the rest of them.
It is nice to see the one who was Carly originally is back playing someone else.
I will still watch GH with or without Laura Wright though I'd really like to see her remain on the show. What would get me to stop watching GH is the removal of Steve Burton and Maurice Benard; without those 2 actors, the show would not work for me.
She isn't Carly Morgan and I really don't care for her. Loved her as Cassie on GL but always like Tamara Braun better as Carly. I would probably watch more because I usually don't watch many of her scenes--that screeching gets to me after a while!

I like Laura Wright's take on Carly, but I detest the character and would probably watch more if she were written off entirely. I don't watch her scenes anymore, though, so if they kept the character but recast her again it wouldn't make a difference to me.
I Would Watch Shes Good But Not That Good Jason is My Favorite Character
Who cares if she is on there or not? A lot of characters come and a lot go. One person does not make the show. It is a montage of characters, all important, who make a show what it is. I would still watch if Sonny, Jason, Elizabeth, Robin or Jax left. "GH" is the name of the show, not "Carly"!
