Who else thinks the "Shiela's Wheels" home and car insurance adver!

Question: and do you also think that those adverts were created by feminists?

Answers: and do you also think that those adverts were created by feminists?

I've thought that since those incredibly annoying adverts started. I'd like to see a car insurance firm for men only, I'd absoultely love seeing all the feminists complaining in women's mags and on the news and everything about it being sexist.

Annoying more like.

Sexist and bloody annoying, and no you can bet they were created solely by men.

It can be construed as being sexist, yes. However, as boyfriends/husbands etc. can be put on the insurance too, then it benefits everyone in the long run.

Dunno about sexist, but they're liars.
I rang around for quotes & theirs was the most expensive.

I REALLY wanted to live in Australia until i realised how flippin annoying the twang was with that advert day in day out!! STOP IT...ITS DRIVING ME NUTS!!

It's irony. Come on, next you'll be complaining that the presenters on Top Gear drive too fast.

eeeeeeerrrrrrrrr thts all i gotta say

its a stupid advert and iritating

They can all have accidents with this company if they like. I don't mind!

really stupid should be removed

There are many adverts that are sexist - for both members of opposite sex

The idea behind 'shiela's wheels' is to target the female driver market - as if sheila's wheels is somehow automaticaly better than any other car insurance. Which I doubt.
If their policy is to somehow discriminate and financialy favour women just because they are women then yes they are totaly sexist.
I would have to say that I think the ads are a bit sexist but it's the actualy policies you would have to look at to see wether the company acts in a sexist manner.

As for created by feminists. Not necessarily, there are professional marketing men (and women) who devise these things cos they think they can corner a slice of the market

OH for goodness sake get a life, because if this is the only thing you have to complain about, I really pity you....Its only an advert silly man...and I presume that is what you are.

its because women are more carfull than men although men can be put on the insurance although it is jarring

go to the pub more often mate

i wont complain but if you had insurance for just men there would be complaints and could you imagine if they come up with white or black only insurance there would be upraw i think sexism is seen as less serious than racism
