Saved by the Bell...How long have you watched?!
Question: I was wondering some things about Saved by the Bell...
1) The original cast consisted of Zack, Screech, Lisa, Mikey, Nikki, Miss Bliss, and Mr. Belding. In an episode Zack''s father was dating Miss Bliss, but how can this be true if Zack's parents were never separated?
2) The next cast included Zack, Screech, Lisa, Kelly, Jessie, Slater, and Mr. Belding. In one episode Jessie was addicted to caffiene pills and Zack said they had been friends the longest, how is this true if she wasn't on the original cast?
3) The cast included Zack, Screech, Lisa, Slater, Mr. Belding, and Tori. In one episode they had to re-write the school song before graduation, but if they had already graduated with the previous cast where Screech was Valedictorian but gave the honor to Jessie how were they graduating again?
These story lines don't add up. Did I miss something along the way?

Well the original show was called "Good Morning Miss Bliss" which came on back in 1987. That's when I started watching it. It wasn't even based in California, but rather in Indiana. That show was cancelled but they took the basic premise of the show and centered it around Zach and the two other characters from the show, Screech, and Lisa Turtle. It became known as Saved By The Bell, so that would explain continuity issues that you have. I quit watching that show after it became the college years.

Very good observations!!
1.) Yes, Zach's father had problems with infidelity. But Mrs. Zach's mom forgave him and they all lived tenuously ever after, for the sake of the show!
2.) You must have missed the flashback to grade school, where Zack met Jessie for the first time. She was the coolest girl in grade school.
3.) It was a confusing time for them in their lives?!
You should order the director's cut now available on DVD! Things on T.V. Don't really happen the way they tell it! Hehehe....
Mostly I just watched for Kelly, though Lisa wasn't too bad either.
