Why in the heck aren't they playing any new episodes of Lost?!

Question: I feel like witting them a letter... how long to they have to keep the suspense up by playing repeats? Its Bull if you ask me.

I agree Breenie...they are just trying to build up the hype before they have their final season in the next year or two. But people are getting annoyed and losing interest. It does not take this long to get the shows back on the air after the resolution of the strike although I know it has impacted the number of episodes this season. Originally it was 22 episodes and I remember reading somewhere that they were only doing 12 new episodes this season.

Because of the writer's strike alot of shows were forced to end. Lost was one of them but they are busy filiming as I type this. There were suppose to be 16 episodes this season. 5 new eps are gonna air starting on April 24th @ 10pm ending with 13 episodes of season 4. So no need to fret.

*sigh*. Do people not read or watch the news anymore? Every screenwriter for TV and movies in the US went on strike for three months. They only completed 8 episodes of Lost before the strike was called. They shut down production for months because there were no more scripts to shoot. The strike ended in mid-February, but it takes time to get new episodes ready - they hadn't even been written yet. They have to write, cast, shoot and do post-production, which takes roughly 8 weeks or more for a show like Lost. It's only been 5-6 weeks since the strike ended. They're working on it now. The first of the new episodes will be aired on April 24. Feel free to write to them, but it's not their fault that you don't pay any attention to the world around you.
