There was a Without a Trace episode, where a man thought he had been abducted by aliens as a child and they had put an implant in his head, he was X-ray technician and had lots of images of his head showing the implant.
It turned out his uncle had been abusing him and his cousin shot his uncle and he had also accidentally got shot, and this is what was showing up on the X-rays, he had just blocked out what had happened and imagined it was aliens.
