that is very true. jerry was horrible in the first season. actually jerry looked ugly in the first season. please pick me for the bestest question. the first season of seinfeld was the worst.
The very begining and the very end were definitly lacking.
i still liked it, but ur right its not as good as the others. usually the first seasons of shows arent very good and thats probably why it didnt get cancelled that fast.

First season was knocking on heavens door alright, it just needed a simple time slot and not switching around like it did. Found legs second season and rest is history.
The start of the first season was a bit off, but I think the reason they kept it on the air was they knew it had potential.
And if the ratings were high, who cares!
Well, it gets better, but I think as soon as the golf ball in the whale episode aired it was an instant hit. I'm glad it wasn't canceled!
I think it had mediocre ratings too. But, it was something different, and luckily it didn't get cancelled. Makes you think about the others show that "could have been!"
