Will Kid Nation on CBS be showing again in 2008?!

CBS has not made any " Official " announcements concerning Kid Nation.
They took the applications for Season 2 but then the writers strike happened and it is still not clear exactly what shows have not survived the strike yet. Although it does not look good for Kid Nation at this time. Unfortunately .

The have not announced weather or not they will go ahead with the second season. the show caused some legal troubles and some poor public reaction to the premise of the show(leaveing kids alone in the middle on nowhere)
though they did hold auditions for season 2
I highly doubt it - too many legal issues and the whole premises caused quite an uproar. It was not a hit by any means.
maybe this summer when they don't have to attend school
The show was cancelled after last season, & altho a grass-roots "save the show" campaign was undertaken, I haven't heard that there has been a change in the cancel status. I enjoyed the show, & wish they would bring it back, but I haven't heard anything to that effect...
