Regarding License fee?!
Question: "Dollhouse, which is to be produced by 20th Century Fox Television, has been granted a seven-episode production commitment by FOX for 2008,a[?] with a reported license fee in the range of US$1.5 million to US$2 million per episode"
Does anyone know if $1.5 million to $2 million per episode is good or what?

What do you mean by good? It is a little high for a show in its first season, but given the creator and the special effects, its probably about right. Of course, having a high license fee means that it has to do very well in the ratings to justify it, or it will likely be canceled.
Another, similar show with a "name" behind it and with a sci-fi attitude is J.J. Abrams' "Fringe", and that is also getting a $2 million fee per episode as well.
