The FOX network is the fourth main American television network. NBC is another of the "Big Three" networks, but it has fallen on hard times after it used to be dominant with Thursday night's "Must see TV" line up in the 1990s. It consistently rates fourth now after FOX, ABC, and CBS. It is owned by GE and is under the media umbrella of NBC Universal which also includes the television stations of the USA Network and the SciFi Network.

The Oprah Winfrey show is a talk show created by (obviously) Oprah Winfrey. It is the highest rated and longest running talk show in America.
