I thought it was great, all the episodes that Russell T Davies writes are.
It was really funny and I think Donna is going to be great - and especial interest because of Rose! Whats that about???
Can't wait for more comedy!!!
It was good until Mary Tamm left and was ok with LaLa Ward who was in what is considered to be the best episodes the ones set in Paris. It got worse and worse after that.

Good, but Donna is seriously hyperactive and I'm sure she'll annoy a lot of people if she doesn't tone it down. Maybe she'll just take some getting used to, but that's my first impression. Next week looks good though, from the preview.

And I used to work in that building which they filmed the episode in! Its called Helmont House and its the British Gas building on Churchill Way in central Cardiff! I've run up and down those stairs so many times lol!

Great start to season 4, I thought. I never had a doubt that Catehrine Tate and David Tennant would be fantastic together - they were in the Christmas episode, and their chemistry as a non-romantic pairing is fabulous - and just what the series needs after three seasons of mush. the Adipose grew on me during the trailer that was released, and I thought they were effective throughout. Nicely pitched performance by Miss Foster too, straddling the ambiguous ground of whether she was a goodie or a baddie. The story itself was rather thin, leaving room for the toing and froing that got the Doctor and Donna back together. But all in all, a very re-watchable episode, much like Smith and Jones. Great thrill also to see the return of Rose, though she looks rather severe at the moment, so it'll be interesting to see how her role develops across this season.
Fab stuff - Who is back, and firing on all cylinders by the feel of it!
How meny more of these questions am i going to answer and the answer is going to be yes it was a good opener to the 4th series (season 30).
