Most Overrated Television Shows?!
Question: My list is as follows:
Deadwood- Sorry. Just didn't get it. Too dusty. Too boring. Too depressing. Hated it.
Seinfeld- Okay it has moments of pure comic genius but is it the best sitcom ever? Uhm. No.
All in the Family- Sure it was groundbreaking at the time but it hasn't held up well and can be downright annoying to watch.
The X Files- Don't get me wrong. I loved it back in the 90's but I don't think it was the end all be all in Sci-fi like everyone says it is.
The West Wing- It was great for a few seasons but gee did it get preachy? When Sorkin jumped ship so did I.

I agree about Survivor. I don't think any season will ever be as good as the first season. Which is why I stopped watching around the second or third. They gave it hype, it was exciting at first, but then it just became the same thing over and over.
I'll definitely agree with you about Seinfeld, just because I can't stand the show!!
I disagree about Friends --- I understand that it's a little ridiculous that it was so popular when it was only about what it was about.....but it was FUNNY, and I think the more successful part of it was how well those six actors were together.
Let's see, a show I think is overrated is Desperate Housewives!!
I think you are wrong about Deadwood, Seinfeld, and All in the Family, just my opinion.
Overrated would be Survivor, American Idol, and Greys Anatomy.
Sex and the City, American Idol, Oprah, Family Guy ( I have tried watching that, but it ain't that funny) Dancing with the Stars, I could go on and on TV sucks right now.
My picks:
Friends - I never could understand how a show that features little more than people talking about their love lives could be considered so funny.
The Cosby Show - Overly preachy and got silly towards the end when the producers started adding all those children.
Roseanne - Started out good but went downhill when the focus shifted away from Roseanne and her activities away from home and started being placed too much on Darlene. I always found that character annoying.
Survivor - I admit that I enjoyed the first two seasons of this show when it actually was more about survival. After that, it became more about people bickering with each other against the backdrop of an exotic location.
