peyton went away to work on her career and while she was gone lucas got in with lindsey. that's why brooke and haley became friends with her. haley is still friends with peyton but she thinks that peyton should leave lucas and lindsey alone and just accept that she will no longer be with lucas 'cause he has lindsey. brooke still feels the same way about peyton. they are still bffs
i think that Haley is getting so close with Lindsey because her best friend and brother in law is Lucas. i think she is over Payton because she broke Lucas heart and she was there to pick up the pieces.
