Dang. I like Terminator, Heroes, Lost, Prison Break, Battlestar Galactica, and pretty much anything with explosions as well as sci-fi and horror. Does this mean I'm not allowed to be a woman any more? My husband will be disappointed.
Idk I've never heard of any of that and never watched any of it and it sounds stupid. I like things that are either romantic, funny, or have some kind of fighting so I don't get bored lol...

There's plenty of male-oriented crap TV too. I'm sure many girls think watching 22 men run up and down a grass rectangle for 90 minutes chasing after an inflatable ball is the dullest thing on earth.
i agree my roommate made me watch that kid movie with the rock in it i almost stabbed myself in the eye; but instead i thought about stabbing her...............(joke)

Yuk....please don't categorize all of us like that. I like classic sci-fi & new, if good, monster movies, adventure type movies, etc. I don't like "period" stuff, don't know who Cookson is, hate Hugh Grant.....I think you know more of this stuff than me!!!! I'm not big on musicals....the only 2 I like are Julie Andrews ones--Mary Poppins & The Sound of Music.
Bitter much?? I don't know about 1/2 of those shows you are talking about. Hugh Grant makes me want to puke. I hate the family shows like wife swap and others. I like shows like Dexter, Survivor, and LWord where people are getting murdered, limbs are getting broken, dreams are getting crushed, and women are banging each other. (I am straight and married by the way)
Could it be that women have different taste than men? Why do men watch so many sweaty sports shows and greasy fixer uppers?? Oh Wait, ....not all guys like those shows. Guess we shouldn't group everyone into one category all the time.

#3. The only recent costume/period movie I've really enjoyed were the Pirates of the Carribean trilogy...and that's cause of my 13 yr old.
#4. MY vid picks are things ranging from Indiana Jones to Alien to Rocky to Die Hard to I Am Legend.
LOL---I actually LOVE movies with explosions, mutants, "necessary" violence (haha), fear, lil' bits of blood/gore don't freak me out either.

while I do like the period films...I certainly am not a fan of crappy shows like grey's anatomy and desperate housewives.
I tend to believe I'm out of the norm on my tastes for TV shows..such as Six Feet Under and The Office...and certainly when it comes to the movies I like...Death Proof, The Boondock Saints, fight club...anything directed by Stanley Kubrick.
I think most women like romantic stuff because it pulls at their heart strings...while my strings are connected to a zombies heart...I'm not a lesbian either..
