Her show was canceled after she got sued for putting people on her show that had a crushes for other guest. The guest was horrified to find out his crush was a guy of the same sex and very vocal about being heterosexual. A few weeks or months later after the show aired the guest who came to the show to find out who his crush was ( thinking it was a friend of his that was female ) shot and killed the man who had a crush on him.

I couldn't stand Rikki Lake. It seemed that every other show was about some baby's daddy. Jenny Jones show I think was cancelled after the show about secret crushes. Some guy came on show to reveal his crush on another guy & guy was laughing on show but sometime after show, he shot the guy & Jenny Jones had to goe to court to testify about that show & what happened. She was also a contestant on Star Search with Ed McMahon as a stand up comedienne & wonder if anybody remembers that.
Well Jenny Jones was canceled due to the fact that someone got killed (shot) because of the show... it was an episode where people revealed their crushes and there was a guy who thought he was going to have a girl reveal himself but it turned out to be a gay guy.... but double check for the complete info on it
It seemed like Jenny Jones was trying hard to appeal to younger audiences before she stopped making shows. Maybe it got cancelled because her show sucked because it went on after the case. I believe it was cancelled in 2003. Hmm...what are the female talk show hosts now. Let's see we have Tyra Show andddd oprah...that's it I think.
