I'm sorry I don't know, but I am amazed at how many people are offended (a-hem! jealous) by this question. Those girls are not only beautiful, they are very intelligent too. They keep up with current events, are talented, and much, much more! Why be jealous?!

Miss America was already held on January 26, 2008...
Miss America 2008, the 83rd Miss America pageant, was held on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada on January 26, 2008.
The pageant was broadcast live on TLC from the Theatre for the Performing Arts at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, only the third time that the pageant has been held outside Atlantic City.
