Sci-Fi/Ghost Hunters Fans?!
Question: Yes, this is my fave show...and for those who watch this....Is it me or does it seem the show is getting way too far fetched? I rememeber when the show first started airing, it seemed they were being more honest with their findings. However, with the new show on A&E [I think] similiar to the ghost hunters, do you think they are stretching the truth a little bit to save ratings and to keep a strong fan base? It just appears to me that they find way too much evidence now than they used too and to me, that is questionable. The investigators do not seem to be has honest about it for some reason. It is kinda dissapointing. Despite with whatever, I will always be a fan...

I've been a BIG fan of "Ghost Hunters" since the very first episode, but I think the show has about run it's course. I liked the chemistry between Jason, Grant, Brian and Steve but I think there are too many new people on the show and it's just not as good as it once was.
I'm starting to prefer "Paranormal State" over "Ghost Hunters". Anyone else?
I am a fan of the show too! My whole family is actually. Personally, we are happy that they are no longer "debunking" everything. It does seem a bit coincidental (sp), so I do understand where you are coming from. Just as long as they don't turn the show into re-enactments, we will keep watching.
I don't know... I guess I haven't seen any of the newer episodes, because every time I watch it, they never have hardly any evidence at all.

Some of the findings are pretty good and they seem pretty honest when they find nothing. I did disagree with one of the things in episode 4 this season when they had an 'evp' where they asked "do you miss your family?" and they said it sounded like someone saying yeah, when all it sounded like to me was the mic picking up the 2 people's breathing. They seemed too desperate to find something going on in the basement of that inn. That being said, the pic moving was neat.
I love Paranormal State .... and Ghost Hunters.
I used to be a fan until I watched the show
"A Haunting" the other night on Discovery.
Wow! These are true stories, and I thought
nothing scared me. I couldn't sleep after
watching how that family was terrorized. They use
actors, but the real people describe what happened.
