Which has been the scariest moment in Doctor Who so far?!

Question: I was reading the DWM and read about the 100 greatest deaths. One of them that was included was Lynda in the gamestation getting exterminated by the Daleks.
I reckon that was the scariest bit because you just see the Daleks rise up slowly on the other side of the window and you see their lights flash but you can't hear them. I find that silent "exterminate" terrifying.
What was the scariest moment for you?

Well in Nu Who for me, it was that scene in 42 when the Doctor says "I'm so scared." That made my stomach drop.

Classic Who, I have vague memories of being terrified by the Calleigh in Stones of Blood as a kid.

i thought it was weird when the giraffe ate the crocodile

My scariest moment is the bit where they nearly die because of those angels. The ones were you look away and they come up to you.

I recon the part in "Genesis Of The Daleks" where Nyder pretends to be helping the scientists but then turns out to by spying for Davros. That scene was so well written.
The Weeping Angels were a fantastically spooky idea. Blink and they've got you! Brilliant.
Another good part is in "The Brain Of Morbius" where Sarah finds the headless monster behind the curtian of the bed.
My mum remembers being terrified when the Dalek came up from the Thames at the end of the first episode of "The Dalek Invasion Of Earth". It's still pretty scary now when I watch it on DVD.

The episode with the empty child the first time i show it was in the dark it freaks me out

well 'scariest' in a sense what the ending of 'doomsday' when Rose Tyler left the doctor.

The bit in "The Web of Fear" where the Doctor's companion Jamie McCrimmon and Colonel Lethbridge Stewart are trapped in an office in the London underground, with the smothering fungus controlled by the Great Intelligence seeping through the cracks in the door. I had nightmares about that for years as a boy. It almost made me claustrophobic (see link below for episode guide).

From the new series, the one that got me was in "The Impossible Planet" after Toby is possessed by "The Beast", where Scooty sees him standing outside without a space suit. Then he causes the glass to break and kills her.

I think it was the Blink episode how the guy was staring at the weeping statue trying not to blink and he kept saying how he couldn't do it much longer.

I think that the episode in the first season when the faces were turned to gas masks was the most frightening.

Well i have three. In Doomsday when Rose nearly got sucked into the void, in The Empty Child- just most of it freaks me out, and in Blink. The angels are proper scary! :)
I also agree with you. It was pretty scary When Lynda died Badwolf or Parting Of The Ways
