How did gilligan, the skipper, and the professor shave on the island? They were !

Question: There was an obscure episode that explained this phenomenon:
On their island was a very rare strain of hair-eating crabs (the crustaceans not the lice) that the professor discovered. He carefully bred them to have an appetite for facial hair as opposed to body hair.
The first trial of this discovery was not too successful. Gilligan woke up one morning bald as a billiard ball, and spent much of the episode trying to make the professor fell bad, and to have the skipper stop laughing.
But, in the end, the professor prevailed and the crabs were developed that ate only facial hair
I hope that explains things for you.

they stole the head-hunters spears

I know, huh?? Thats true. Maybe Thurston Howell III packed extra blades in his suitcase, lol !! ; )

they used Ginger's dilapatory cream

Make-up crew hiding behind the palm trees.

I imagine with a kneif. Scary yes but barbers these days use such a tool to shave with.

The people hiding in the trees with really sharp knives

The prof. made a radio out of coconuts. Most likely making razors or possibly even electric shavers wasn't beyond him.

Thurston howell had a straight razor in his suitcase, along with a hone and a leather strop! Since there was no soap available, I assume that they only used water for lubricant, (or maybe ginger)

Coconuts. Everything, including the radio, was made out of coconuts, so why not coconut razors?
