I would love to see them do an Elton John night. But, I'm older, so it might bore a lot of viewers.

I sadly havnt been watching all that much.. But i would really like to see a big band night. They did that the very first season, and i LOVED it! maybe they already have and i have not seen it.. lol

They shouldn't limit to one artists songs. That gets sooooo old. I like when they have a loose theme, like dance songs or rock songs because then they each have to show their versatility, but enough with the mentors and limiting to that artist!
I really thought the theme where they picked a song from the year they were born was creative, I liked that one.
I think it would be fun to have a Christmas theme, even though idol is always done after Christmas. There are some really fun Christmas songs in every style...ballads to belt out, rocked out or modern songs, acoustic...I think that would be fun.
I would love to see an open rock and roll night, like any decade. I would also like to see a favorite song of the contestants night and a night where they sing original music that they help write.
