I think "So you Want to be a Hilton" ranks way up there with all the best TV shows ever. Loved the actors, loved the premise. Loved the presentation Whoever thought that one up is really a genius.

The best show ever was the sitcom SOAP. It was so funny and politically incorrect and the only show that got canceled when it's ratings were the highest. It was the best when Benson was still on.
One of the best shows ever written as Mash. Just look at the stats for the finale. However, that was more than likely way before most people's times on here. Seinfeld was hysterical. Friends was awesome. Lost is killer. I am not a sci-fi person - so I am certain Buffy was good in that regard. I have heard many good things about it, just not my forte

I agree...Buffy is one of the greatest. I loved Angel too, although the series finale left alot to be desired.
Buffy was one of the greats, until seasons 6 and 7 came along. If you factor those two godawful seasons in, overall it was only slightly above average. There have been other great shows, some better, like Northern Exposure, Homicide, St. Elsewhere, Hill Street Blues, WKRP, and plenty more.
"Dallas" is the best show ever in my opinion! :)
The characters had a lot of depth, the cast so much talent, the writing constantly kept you on your toes. It was funny, it was sad, romantic, it was entertaining and had a lot of drama.
My second favorite shows would be Buffy & Angel though...
But Dallas had much better consistent quality. I mean season nine is one of my favorite seasons and Buffy & Angel didn't even have a season nine!
Even if you add it all together Dallas had 13 season, Buffy & Angel together had only 12...
Over all I think they don't make tv the way they used to anymore. I don't find myself being as passionate about today's shows as I was about Dallas, Buffy & Angel.
