I was really disappointed when I learned the theme on Idol tonight. With all the talent on the planet who came up with the bright idea of Dolly Parton night? Wow, I can't even believe the contestants did as well as they did.

Grow some musical taste. Dolly Parton is a classic. An idol. An icon. Anyone to join the music industry should hope to have as much fame and talent as she does. She's truly a great woman if you know anything about her. She's real. Unlike the musicians today who rely on backup singers and special effects to make them sound decent.
I respect anyone's opinion, but seriously, Dolly Parton is part of music history! Didn't you hear on the show that she has over 3000 songs out there? She's amazing!
Why is it whack? She's got a huge repetoire of songs and the contestants all did a great job with her songs.
Dolly Parton is a true living legend. I would rather see the original (and i mean this with all possible respect) bleach blonde bimbo (a term she has used to describe herself) that any of todays substandard pop princesses.
