Question: and i saw an episode one time where it was like the coffee house was really a bar and phoebe and chandler started making out on the pool table... but yeah so i have the whole series on dvd and i just finished watching it, and i never saw that episode.... anyone ever seen that one or did i just skip over that episode???

i don't remember what season it was- but its something like "the one where it could have been" or something like that. that episode is hilarious- i love when monica is still fat and marries joey and makes him food all the time so he gets fat too and he says "how you doin" to the pancakes. hahaha good luck with what season. at least you know you're not crazy
Yeah, I've seen that one. It's hiliarious! I've been buying up the seasons on DVD because I'm beginning to see it less and less on TV. So far, the only episode I haven't seen is the one where Monica does karaoke, and you can see straight thorough her shirt. She thinks they love her singing, but it's not her singing that has the audience cheering for more!
It's a great one and it's Ross and Phoebe making out on the pool table.
It starts with Janice asking if any of the others had almost "hooked up" and Rachel & Chandler almost do and Monica and Joey almost do. It takes place when Joey first moves in with Chandler and Rachel had just gotten engaged, but hadn't reunited with Monica yet.
At the end, Rachel dreams about hooking up with Chandler, she hits the juke box and they start kissing. I love that one!
GN65 is right. It started with Janice asking if any of them almost hooked up and it goes back to how it all started. Phoebe and Monica were roommates and Phoebe was moving in with her grandmother without Monica knowing. Ross was married to Carol and found out she was a lesbian, which led to him & Phoebe making out on the pool table. Chandler was looking for a new roommate and Joey answered his ad in the paper. Monica & Joey took notice of each other when he moved in with Chandler. Rachel was engaged to Barry. The coffee house was a pool hall/bar that they hung out at. I have that episode on DVD also and it's on season 3.
the coffee house was a bar in the very beginning... i think that was a flash back one of them were having.. i know its first season.
