Why can't Clark fly?!
Question: I have not seen every single episode of Smallville but I am sure in the past I have seen Clark flying. So why is that now in Season 7 he can't fly and has to be taught by Kara? Is anyone else worried that they are starting to run out of ideas to keep the show fresh?

It was discussed early in the series that Clark was afraid of heights. There were a few episodes where he had to make long jumps and you could see how nervous he was.
Clark has flown as Kal El before,but only made incredibly long jumps now as himself. (The first being jumping to catch the ICBM missile and the second when he proposed to Lana)
