Yes, it's true! The ENTIRE cast is going to be scrapped and a whole new batch will be introduced in the 3rd season. Apparently it focuses on Effy's friends, or something? But Effy herself won't even be acting anymore. It's quite sad.
Also, Chris dying is just a spoiler. It hasn't been confirmed, but there are supposed to be two deaths this season, and the first one was Sid's father so the next one we don't know yet. Don't trust spoilers- the Skins writers love giving us a twist at the end.
