it was mainly emotionally but Lauren is prone to some anxiety attacks. as far as her past with John, she was just shaken at the fact of seeing a ghost.
Michael meant physically. Lauren thought she saw the "ghost" of John Abbot at the Abbot mansion. (It was actually an actor who just happened to be a dead-ringer for John.) Jack, Sharon and Jeffery hired this actor to "spook" Gloria right out of the mansion. On accident, Lauren saw him and got "spooked" instead, causing her to lose her balance and fall down the stairs. As far as I know, she and John were just acquaintances. They had no kind of "past".

She saw "Allistair" at the bottom of the stairs and fell down the stairs.
She saw what look like John Abbot a close but dead friend !!! Then fell down the stairs!! No she not hurt! But Michael has had it with Jack ; o!!!!!!!!!!!
She fell down the stairs when she saw Alistair or "John's Ghost." The fall was pretty dramatic and it looked like she should have suffered a major neck and back injury. When she came to, she had the normal soap amnesia for a few minutes and seemed fine. Her head hurt a little, but on yesterday's episode, she was okay physically and mentally.
She was in the Abbot Mansion and she started walking down the stairs she stepped on the first stair and she looked down and saw Allistair who looks like John Abbot and she got scared and fainted and fell down the stairs. Here is the video on Youtube:

Gag,,, I just heard Michael yacking about what Jack and Sharon did.....like his mother does....please.....
Everyone else let you know about her falling down the stairs when she saw "John" at the bottom of the stairs. She got a mild concussion but that was all.
but, Michael needs to get OVER IT...as far as Allister.and the scheme.......I hope Sharon talks so since into Lauren who really should distance herself from Gloria...and make her husband do the same (and remember she had it coming) before they both go to prison before she does and to Michael.....again back off yes Lauren got hurt in the Ghost of John scheme they didn't mean for her to get hurt how were they to know he and Lauren would fake a fight and she would even be at the mansion.....she was collateral damage you know like Abby getting burnt and the lady who died were in the tainting of the cream scheme.!!!!!!!!!!
