I answered a similar question the other day about LOST:
My daughter and her fiance were really "hooked" on HEROES, but I kept on telling them that although HEROES was good, LOST was a zillion times more entertaining. Because of the writers' strike, they started to rent the first three seasons of LOST. They ended up becoming so involved, every day they rushed home to watch at least 2 or 3 episodes ... one weekend they watched I think something like 11 episodes !!
Before I knew it, they were watching Season 4 right along with me. The bad side of it is now that they are caught up, they have to go through a "withdrawal" process of only being able to watch it once a week !!!!
So, yes, LOST is the best-ever TV series that I've ever seen!!! (except for "Rich Man, Poor Man" in 1976).
(PS: It also helps that I have the biggest crush on Josh Holloway/Sawyer !!) CAN'T WAIT UNTIL 4/24 !!

yeah, lost is the best show on tv atm. season 4 has been AWESOME, and season 3 was amazing. dunno why it was so criticised
I never watched Lost for the first 2 Seasons and from the first episode, I was pretty much hooked. I don't miss an episode, because if you do, you more or less don't know what's happened (since one episode holds so many twists).
I watch Prison Break as well and I think that's great! Same with that programme, I missed the first few episodes then got hooked on it again, so I had to retrace them. Someone said about Heroes, I watch that as well! They're ALL great! I think they're all by the same writers!? (Correct me if I'm wrong). Anyway, they've got to be pretty talented people to come up with such amazing story lines and characters. Plus, the actors and actresses are really talented! =)
EDIT: I had a week off where I more or less did nothing but watch Lost! I was so hooked I wouldn't leave the house until I'd watched an episode! =D
