If you are considered a public figure ie; celebrity, politican, all around rich guy, you are considered open for satire. If you wish to sue, you have not only to prove malice, but also show how the parody cost you income, notoriety or damaged your public image.
Keep in mind however most of the people they parody have been their own worst enemies. Clinton, Paris Hilton, Bush, Lohan. You can go after practically anyone and get away with it as long as you have no ill intention towards them.
