Who thinks Simon Cowell on American Idol is an idiot and Why?!
Question: because he is rude to people,he is an idiot.i have yet to hear him sing a note,but he has no problem influencing the public,when it is supposed to be the publics choice,.! the show would be better with just a host and voting public in my opinion!

I love Simon and think he's sexy and honest and smart and rich.
I think he's very intelligent. He knows what the public will buy up like it's candy and what they will steer clear of at any expense. He knows the business and that's why he's there.
sometimes he can be annoying. but i don't think he's an idiot.
he's been in the business a long time. he knows what works and doesn't work. he tells you the truth whether you want to hear it or not. he won't baby you like paula does. he tells it like it is. yeah sometimes he's wrong but it's not all that often. i trust his judgment.
i think he's an idiot because he and all the other idiots on american idol are automatically idiots for being on such a terrible show
He is too pompous and way too full of himself.I would love to see him in a room and have several people being as mean to him as he is to contestants on Idol. Give him a dose of his own medicine. Tell him he is not fit to judge anything. Tell him skunks are much better judges than he.

He isn't a idiot. he just doesn't know the music end of the business as much as he thinks. he is better at business part of it. like where contracts and all that good stuff are dealt with. he is even good as far as knowing who most of the public will makes a big deal over.

He's a judge he's supposed to judge their performances and everyone on the show knows what kind of person he is when the audition so if they dont like what he has to say thats there own problem becuase they know what they're getting into.
I think Simon is a great funny smart asset to the show ... he's quirky and witty and fun ..
I highly dislike the simon haters ... both the guests /fans / contestants and esspecially now... ryan seacrest.... ryan is a gay boy who's doing some of the ciontestants and living a lie ... simon knows it and almost said it on the show the other day but was smart enough to know not to air dirty laundry on air ...

He's not really, it's just because he's so honest and blunt that he comes across as mean. After all, he's been a top record executive for years now and knows talent when he hears it. I think it's wild that the only act that he's ever regretted passing on was the Spice Girls.
I don't always agree with Simon, but I appreciate that he is never afraid to call it as he sees it..He has no tact, but he's been successful so he obviously knows what he's talking about...
