Question: Remember in the good old days of comedy - Mary Tyler Moore, That Girl, Happy Days, Laverne and Shirley, One Day at a Time, etc.
And what about those great TV Dramas like Hawaii 5-0, Mission:Impossible, Wild Wild West, etc.
What ever happened to TV Theme Songs? Am I the only one who misses them? What were some of your favorites??

Yes.I don't get this just putting the credits on with no real opening.When you look back on the distinctive openings like Love Boat,Fantasy Island,The Brady Bunch,etc.Who didn't love to sing along?And to hear that music that had the Pavlovian response that signaled the show was about to start.Yet another sign how t.v. isn't what it used to be.I really miss them.You don't see a shows leads sitting down to sing like Archie and Edith did.It's a shame.

I miss them too. I liked them all.
Mission: Impossible had a cool intro and theme.
Also, Get Smart, Star Trek, Bonanza...
I miss the theme songs too. Just don't remember all of the theme songs.
I remember hearing the music for the TV show and you knew by the theme song that your show was on.
I love theme songs!! Love Boat, Alice, Give me a Break, Different Strokes, Facts of Life........
Unfortunately the remote changed all that - the shows start immediately to keep people from changing the channel.
