King of the Hill is a very funny animated show. It does have some dud episodes from time to time like all long running shows do - but overall it is really funny. The show centers around the Hill family. They live in Texas - they are rednecks but in a entertaining way not an annoying one. Hank is the dad - he works for a propane company and is so proud of that - he's very concervative and uptight. I know he doesn't sound very interesting but he is the one that makes the show work. Peggy is his wife and he loves her although it rarely occurs to him to tell her - he thinks by now she should know that - and she does but like most women she likes to hear it from time to time. She's funny because she thinks she's hip but she''s not but she holds the family togather. Bobby is their son he's 12 - 14 years old. He's overweight and an under achiever and very happy with that - which drives Hank nuts. He likes comedy and computer games again Hank cannot relate. Luanne is their niece and she lives with them because her mom's in prison and her dad is gone ( cannot remember where ) she's a little slutty but totally clueless about it. Hank would rather she not be there but Peggy insists she stay. Hank has his buddies ( all neighbors and boyhood friends ) Bill who is overweight and a loser but the nicest guy you would wanna meet. He looks up to Hank and believes whatever he is told. He is also in the army. Boomhauer is the good looking player of the group. Dale - typical redneck thinks that gov't is out to get him & married to Nancy - Nancy loves him but 1 man is not enough for her so she sleeps with John Redcorn a very hot looking guy who is indian - they have a son Joseph who is Bobby's best friend. Joseph is biologically John Redcorn's child but Dale thinks he is his - he totally oblivious to the obvious. Everyone in ton knows the truth but Dale, Joseph and Bobby. Then there is an asian family next door. Kahn - can't stand he is in redneckville but also finds amusement in it. Ming his wife loves all the gossip and activity going on and Connie is Bobby's friend - sometimes girlfriend puppy love really. It really is a funny show if you give it a chance.

i never really got into it, thort it was verry boring
Propane Gas working Husband, intelligent (and butch) wife, thick daughter and teenage fat son with hick neighbours of all creed & colours.
Some episodes are funny yes and some are really lame.
its about a group of good old boys and one idiot. i love the show. most of the time its really funny. im from Texas and i have heard that only texans understand the show.
