It all boils down to individual opinions on whom people thinks are the best on American Idol. As for me myself I think David Archuleta, Carly Smithson and David Cook are the top 3 best right now on American Idol. David Cook has been doing really well and has been coming on strong for the past few weeks. Hes been giving some really strong performances the last 2 or 3 weeks. Carly Smithson has that powerhouse voice with good range. She can really belt it out when she chooses the right songs to showcase her voice and range. David Archuleta can sing without a doubt. Hes the best male vocalist out of the guys.
Its either David Cook or David Archuleta.

I agree with you 100% I am in love with David Archuleta...and I still think he is the best, however Cook is coming on very strong and it seems like he may win it all. So the way it looks right now I am going t have to say the best is David Cook.

david a. has a huge fan base and david cook is, well, amazing!!!!
but im gonna have to say that david a. will win because david cook is too rock and david a. has more of a chance at putting out a pop album i guess.
David Archuleta and David Cook are the front runners, but David Archuleta is definitly my favorite.
I really love David Cook, I think he is just amazing and really deserves to win. But David Archuleta is good to for 17! I just don't think he will win.
