Would this ruin the season?!

Question: My dad has just recently purchased Rescue from Giligans Island. He also purchased the third season, soon the first and second as well. I really want to watch Rescue from Giligans Island, but I am afraid if I do, it will ruin it for me.

It just seems that it would ruin the whole show, and I would try to enjoy it, but in the back of my head I know what would happen.

However, I don't know if it has anything relevant to the storyline of the seasons, and i could still enjoy them, because this isn't a soap opera- its a sitcom.

I don't really know. I have seen the whole third season of Scrubs, and then purchased seasons one and two, and it didn't spoil a thing. It's just, something is odd about this one. I don't mess it up.

Any ideas?

It won't ruin it because the premise is that they are never rescued, hence "Gilligan's Island". And, even if they are rescued, it won't make the shows any less enjoyable if they are out of sequence because there is not evolving plot line on that show.
