you are not being prissy. I think the shows would be just a fun to watch if they left the adult based humor out of the picture. We have to write the networks to get anything to change. Maybe our congress reps too!!!

The Simpsons isn't REALLY a children's show.

And, chances are, they don't even know what it means. Maybe to them it means they're covered with horns, I don't know.

I had a five year old tell me "I love you, you dirty ho" after she heard it on the non-animated Cat in the Hat movie.

Simpsons originated on the Tracey Ulman show as a little bit, and they did not talk. The artist Matt Groening, (I do believe that is his name) has been around since the 60s, and he never intended on the Simpsons on being a children's show... IT is an adult show...

The Simpsons aren't for kids really. They are for teenagers and so on. I personally love them.

Do you think that everything that is animated is a children's show? Apparently you do. The nature of the show is determined by the content, not the fact that they are cartoons. And yes, the Simpsons is definitely for teens and up. The humor is too sophisticated for anyone younger. And yes, sometimes the humor refers to sexuality!!!! GASP!!!!!
