The producers of these shows are afraid that the average viewer doesn't have the intelligence know what is funny or sad. The laugh track is the biggest reason I have been turning off my TV more often lately. If the jokes aren't funny enough to laugh at without the laugh track they just aren't funny.
Yeah, I know exactly what you're saying; and yes they can get a bit annoying at times, but they got them in there to show moods and emotions. Never noticed them that much, good observation! :)

Ha ha I know what you mean. Their loudness gets in the way of the show, and you can barely hear what the actors are saying.
